Senior Product Designer
- Worked closely with executive team and product director to improve the adoption of a new application
- Focused solely on action items around heavily requested feature improvements from the core user base
As Senior Product Designer, I was brought in during a pivotal time in the product organization's evolution; a design team was leaving while a new team was forming.
During that interim period I was able to work closely with the CEO and new product director to help improve the core product and improve adoption of their new application.

User Experience Designer
- Designed and iterated on a touch-screen registration kiosk UI
- Attended tradeshows to observe the usability of the UI
- Designed and developed front-end of registration websites
for large tradeshows
As a first brush with UX, I began to tailor my graphic design training and previous experience working in design and marketing agencies towards learning more about the users that interacted with the interfaces I created.
At Maritz Events (formerly Experient) my core focus was designing the registration sites and interactive kiosks at different trade events. I noticed the struggle users would have on touch screens, fumbling with small text inputs in order to register for the event. My success was fine-tuning the interface for touch interaction, and evolving the kiosks through each event.
